Macmillan Brown Library have just made it easier to find archival collections for the First World War. Just go to our art and archives database, Kā Kohika and click on 'First World War' under popular topics. We have pulled together archival First World War content including digitised diaries, letters and photographs. Click on the thumbnail to view a photographic image, or you can click on 'view the document' to see text items such as diaries and manuscripts. Anyone can register as a Kā Kohika user and make a request to view the original items at the Macmillan Brown Library, University of Canterbury. For more information contact macbrown@canterbury.ac.nz.

Our staff have been doing some research to find out more about these collections and we will be sharing this on Canterbury 100 over the next few weeks.
