Packing Clothes for the distressed people of Belgium and Great Britain.

This photograph was obtained in the Montreal Street store of Messrs. Pyne and Co., and shows members of the Christchurch Ladies committee engaged in opening and repacking boxes of clothes from all over Canterbury. A notable feature of the parcels is the large proportion they present of new clothes and new blankets.
